Book Titles That Describe My Life

A month without uploading
she comes back with a tag
that no one even tagged her in
she’s not a challenge to drag

Sorry if you’re not familiar with this masterpiece of music, but it was the first thing that came to my mind when I started writing this post. I saw this tag on Shannon’s blog, and decided to steal it, because I’m in the last stages of writing my dissertation and it’s either a tag or nothing. Hope you enjoy!

Title That’s the Story of Your Life

Nervous Conditions

I literally picked this book up because of the title, so I feel like that’s pretty accurate.

Title That Describes Your Perfect Weekend

Shopaholic Takes Manhattan

I’m not particularly fond of shopping, but I would like to see Manhattan, and I do like having new things, so this seems like a pretty fun weekend.

Title of an Adventure You’d Like to Go On

Life in Outer Space

Okay, so I’m a bit wary of things going wrong, but you can’t deny this sounds like a good aventure. I’d just like to see it for a bit and then get back to earth though, please. Also I’m lacking a good party trick at the moment, and I feel like saying “Oh yeah, I’ve been to space no big deal” would make up for that somewhat.

Title You Want to Name Your Child

The Mistake

I’m kidding, I’m kidding.

Title of Your Ideal Job

On Writing

Right now, my ideal job would be lounging at a pool and reading somewhere, but I’m going to go with writing and hope that university hasn’t ruined our relationship too much.

Title of a Place You’d Like to Visit

The Girl From Everywhere

I love travelling, so this title describes it pretty well.

Title of Your Love Life

Ruins

So many jokes to be made. So many dystopian titles to choose from. This might possibly be the only time when your lack of a love life is an advantage. In the end, I decided to keep it simple, mostly because I liked this book.

Questions You Ask Yourself

How to Lead a Life of Crime

I’ve been watching some crime shows recently, and it seems like you can get caught by the tiniest things. Seems kind of exhausting to plan the perfect crime to be honest.

Title You’d Name Your Band

Dead Witch Walking

Come on, Dead Witch Walking is a pretty cool name for a band! We play once a week at your local bar, but we’ll be discovered soon. We’ll turn down a record deal of course, it’s about the music, not the fame. We’ll get famous anyway when “someone” leaks our music to Youtube, but we’ll claim it was all very surprising and stress how important it is to stay down to earth before zooming off in our Tesla Model S (we care about the environment, don’t be a douchebag).

Alternatively:

I Like Big Dragons and I Cannot Lie

I found this on my TBR for whatever reason, and I couldn’t not include it in a post about titles. I don’t think I’ll be reading it, but I would for sure consider it as a band name.

Title That Describes Where You Live

Season of Migration to the North

This perfectly describes my summer in England tbh.

Title That Describes Your Current Emotional State

Things Fall Apart

I decided to add one myself because Shannon did it, and I left another one out. Also because I needed one more opportunity to whine about how stressful university and looking for a job is. #firstworldproblems Okay, I’m done now.

If you want to do this, consider yourself tagged! I’m going to get back to writing. See you on the other side, fam.

YAYY this makes me so happy, and also, so impressed because HOW did you get this together so quickly? You are my hero, as always. ALSO, you used ones that I almost used too (The Girl From Everywhere and Life in Outer Space- only the cover I had for the latter was ugly, but then I found this nice one here and YAY!) Ruins is also a good one- I agree, the puns are SO much better for messy/non existent love lives here, because no one wants mushy bullshit. We will throw tomatoes. Good job being in the LAST stages of your dissertation, too! That is awesome!!
